My craft is deeply rooted in critical cartography, critical data studies, and data feminism and is inseparable from my being as a Diné person. I make maps that are unsettling, disorienting, and unexpected.
My unending love for storytelling means that I'll expand beyond maps, or in between, or blur the boundaries all together. I specialize in working with educators and nonprofits.

STATEMENT ON AI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) processes are often deeply embedded in death-dealing worldviews and are produced by and in turn reproduce relationships of extraction and surveillance and are profit-driven. AI is anti-relational in the way that it obscures real-world impacts and connections behind its infrastructures.
I try to avoid use of AI in all of my work, despite it being increasingly more and more difficult to opt out: I try anyway. I take inspiration from Ruha Benjamin's reframing of AI as: Ancestral Intelligence or Abundant Imagination.
